EGE UNIVERSITY STATE TURKISH MUSIC CONSERVATORY VOICE RECORDING STUDIO

The Sound Recording Studio was started to be built in 2006 and put into operation in 2008, continues to exist within Ege University State Turkish Music Conservatory.

Our studio was equipped with the latest technology regarding the years of foundation and Professional service was purchased in order to obtain acoustic measurements and design. The studio has been following innovations in technology and being revised accordingly.

The studio was designed by Levent Uslu, a graduate of Ege University Turkish Music Fundamentals (currently called Turkish Music Department). He continued his activities with the participation of Ege University lecturer M. Hakkı Balamir, an Ege University Voice Training Department graduate. Balamir then completed his Sound Engineering education at the Institute of Audio Research at New York University in the United States and started to work in 2003.

Our studio ranks first among the sound recording studios in the Aegean Region, especially in terms of square measure. Our studio consists of three parts, control room, recording room and drum-vocal room within the recording room, which is large enough to meet the demands of symphony orchestras and choirs. In addition, the recording system of the studio has advanced technology, and can easily support channel and attack recordings up to 100 channels.
