Airport Arrival
There are 4 different options to get from the airport to the symposium hall.
1. You can reach the symposium hall directly by yellow taxis. Yellow Taxi Price: ~ 20 € - 25 € Estimated Journey Time: ~ 45 minutes
2. From the airport, municipal bus number 204 (ESHOT) (Select Line 204) runs to Bornova Metro station at 05:40 in the morning with one hour intervals. It is a 5-minute walk from the metro station to the symposium hall.
3. From the airport, transfer to the subway at HALKAPINAR station with IZBAN rail system and take the subway to Bornova direction and after getting off at BORNOVA STATION, you can reach the symposium hall with a 5-minute walk. A lave olarak after getting off at EVKA3 STATION, you can reach the Ege University guest house with a 5-minute walk. (Railway System Network Map)
In Izmir, you can use “Izmirim” electronic card and Bilet35, which is a single-use paper ticket that can be used for 3, 5 and 10 trips, for benefiting from public transportation and some municipal services.
4. Take HAVAS buses from the airport to ALSANCAK EFES HOTEL and then take the subway from ÇANKAYA metro station to BORNOVA. After getting off at BORNOVA STATION, you can reach the symposium hall with a 5-minute walk. A lave olarak after getting off at EVKA3 STATION, you can reach the Ege University guest house with a 5-minute walk.

Ege University - Guesthouse The hotel situated in a scenic area near the Campus and it is only 1 km away from the symp. venue and 11 km away from the center of Izmir City. It is used for students’ training in hotel management and to houseguests in a warm and a comfortable atmosphere. The Hotel has been renovated to provide better facilities for both domestic and international guests. It has 83 newly decorated rooms with a capacity for 122 guests. A quality service at reasonable prices is offered to the guests. Most of the rooms are equipped with cooling systems, telephones and minibars. It also houses a very pleasant cafeteria offering snacks and hot and cold beverages. There is air conditioning in all room, each room has its private bathroom
